The Aerobay is the school’s making room, fitted out as a space station: a curved lit ceiling, an orbit wall, and long white benches that children work along rather than sit behind.
What happens on those benches is laser-cut plywood kits, clamped, glued and assembled into mechanisms that move. The pictures show pupils building cranes, robotic arms and spring-driven models, a teacher leaning in where a joint will not hold, and the finished pieces lined up on the window sill.
Nothing on these benches arrives finished. A child who gets a mechanism working has read a drawing, cut to it, found the mistake and done it again, which is a different kind of learning from being told the answer.
