The main playing surface at Neelbad is an artificial turf under a full steel canopy. That canopy is the point: in a Bhopal monsoon an open ground costs a school weeks of games, and this one does not.
The same surface carries football through the week and the whole school’s yoga mats in the morning, and it is where the carnival’s track events and skating are run.
Beyond it the campus has dedicated outdoor sports fields and indoor activity areas, on a site the school’s public disclosure records at 48,400 square metres.
